The CIO Association of Canada’s annual conference, the CIO Peer Forum, is a vibrant community event for attendees and the profession. We recognize the essential role of the CIO Peer Forum is now more important than ever. We need to bring our IT community together to share the latest trends, provide opportunities for thought leaders to learn about innovations, and be able to network with colleagues in their areas of expertise.

Welcome to the 2023 CIO Peer Forum. With a dynamic program planned we are well on our way to a successful conference. As a committee we developed this year’s theme:
Bridging Innovation and Delivery: A Balancing Act
Innovation is a critical driver across all industries to remain competitive while preparing the organization to be future ready. The business expects CIOs to deliver innovation that leads to growth, efficiency, advancement of capabilities all while managing the risk. Development of innovation must be balanced with today’s business needs.
The challenge is choosing the right innovation to drive business growth, improve processes, and bring new & improved products/services to the market.
To achieve success, CIOs must be the bridge between multiple lines of businesses and be the catalyst to drive change in partnership with the business. It is a Balancing Act to align with the business vision & strategy, internal & external stakeholder requirements, and innovative ideas generated through interactions with the customers, suppliers and other partners.
