Biography

Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), National Bank of Canada

André Boucher joined National Bank of Canada in 2021 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In this role, André is responsible for strengthening the information security program, ensuring the protection of information assets and technology, and supporting cybersecurity architectures and solutions that enable the Bank’s growth. André also acts as an information security advisor to the executive team by recommending cybersecurity investments, practices, technical expertise and governance. Prior to joining the Bank, André was the Associate Head of the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, part of the Communications Security Establishment. He retired in 2014 from the Royal Canadian Air Force. Colonel (Ret’d) André Boucher served as a senior communications and electronics engineering officer. He has extensive experience in leadership, secure technologies, including cyber and air operations in Canada, NORAD and NATO.
