Partnership Categories

As the only independent, not-for-profit association of CIOs in Canada, CIOCAN has established important partnerships with a number of research, advocacy, media and event-based organizations that are committed to the profession of CIO. All organizational relationships are established through, or in conjunction with the National Board. CIOCAN is open to a limited number of additional partner relationships in 5 categories:

Industry

A non-commercial business relationship with like-minded Canadian ICT industry organizations offering mutual brand and member benefits.

Research

A one-time or annual research-based initiative resulting in co-branded published works which bring ICT industry knowledge, benefits and insight to members individually with leadership and brand recognition for the association and/or external industry practitioners.

Academic

A professional and leadership development opportunity for our members, run locally, and/or Canada-wide with a view to establishing nationally recognized education standards for CIOs, and which contributes to other academic achievement levels.

Media

A Media relationship is intended to deliver industry visibility to the CIOCAN brand covering our activity, press announcements; highlighting member achievement and measure our industry reach and impact.
