Evaluations of the Manitoba chapter event held on September 15th confirmed that the 3 great speakers on “IT Talent” were very well received: the average score for the overall value of the event 4.5 out of 5.
Marny Barnes, Senior Recruitment Consultant, IT & Operations at The Headhunters was first to take the podium giving those in attendance an enlightening discussion on modern day recruiting of IT professionals and millennials in the workplace. Kathy Knight, CEO of ICTAM provided an informative presentation on funding opportunities for SME’s including that of recruitment and professional development. Wrapping up the event was the rockstar herself, Trish Bishop, Director of Professional Services at Horizon, with an engaging presentation on How to Build a Rockstar Team.
