Cybersecurity 2020 – Going Beyond Network Segmentation & Zero Trust
Cybersecurity is becoming more and more challenging – with threats and operational requirements growing in complexity and fewer skilled professionals available to fill the gaps. Everyone agrees that digital transformation is rapidly changing the nature of computing and security. Yet, many of our strategies are based on flat networks, perimeters and implicit trust. Why do organizations still get breached when they are performing pen tests, auditing networks, following compliance, and implementing the latest security technologies that take advantage of anomalous behavior models, artificial intelligence, and machine learning? This talk will answer these questions:
- What is the object of the exercise in cybersecurity?
- Why does today’s cybersecurity fail to keep the attackers away?
- What constitutes ‘reasonable care and governance’ when it comes to building a holistic cybersecurity environment?
Jonathan Nguyen-Duy will draw on his 20 years of experience in helping organizations of all sizes, to outline practical cyber approaches for today’s digital enterprise.
