LAS VEGAS, NV, June 23, 2016 – UTG Digital Media of Ottawa, ON, Canada, has installed their ground-breaking LED staircase in Las Vegas. This digital project is the first of its kind in Las Vegas. It was unveiled at the grand opening of the JEWEL Nightclub on Thursday, May 19 and will remain on permanent display.
JEWEL Nightclub vibrantly replaced the space formerly occupied by Haze Nightclub, within the ARIA Resort & Casino, and spans luxuriously over 24,000 sq ft. Operated by internationally renowned hospitality company Hakkasan Group, the avant-garde design concept features thousands of LED ribbons blended seamlessly with UTG Digital Media’s LED staircase to create an extraordinary and elegant atmosphere. Equipped with exclusive UTG Digital Media cabinet design, the LED stairs are shock-absorbent and will display text, images, videos, or a combination of mediums.
UTG Digital Media’s innovative LED display stairs are revolutionizing today’s digital signage industry around the world. Their unique abilities provide real-time programming and deliver mind-blowing visual content simultaneously.
The LED stairs are created by removing the front panel of each step (i.e. the riser) and installing LED modules custom-fit for each project. The top portion of the step which bears the weight of traffic remains untouched. A durable transparent plexiglass protective cover is then applied to complete the installation.
