President’s Award Nomination Form

The President’s Award is intended to recognize a current board member for their service to the Association. This member gives tirelessly towards the Association at either the National, Chapter or Division level. Their passion for the Association and dedication to its programs is widely felt and recognized. This recipient has consistently demonstrated significant value to CIOCAN and its members. They are the board member who leads by example, holds themselves and others accountable to deliver, makes volunteering enjoyable for others and sets the standard for all other members.
Eligibility
All CIOCAN board members (at the National, Chapter or Division level) in good standing are eligible for this award.
Selection Criteria
The following criteria are considered in determining a recipient:
- INVOLVEMENT: The individual has been involved in CIOCAN through activities, committees and/or programs.
- LEADERSHIP: The individual shows qualities that exemplify leadership and inspiration related to participation in CIOCAN and the technology sector.
- ACHIEVEMENTS: The individual has had a positive impact on the Association and sector.
Nominations in consideration of the selection criteria will be reviewed. The CIOCAN Board of Directors will have final approval on the recommendation. In the event that no nominee meets the criteria, no award will be presented.
Presentation
The 2023 CIOCAN Impact Awards will be announced and presented at the CIO Peer Forum® on May 3, 2023.
Nominations to be completed by individual Chapter, Division or National Presidents. Nominations are limited to one nomination per Chapter or Division and one per National.
