The Lifetime Achievement Award is intended to honour an outstanding industry leader and CIOCAN board member of many years. This person has demonstrated excellence within the vocation of CIO throughout their career. They have led by example and propelled the CIO profession forward with innovation and dedication. In addition, they have held board positions within the Association at the National and or Chapter level. Their commitment to CIOCAN has demonstrated leadership and value to its membership. This individual is likely a mentor to members and the larger community. They are the model CIO that inspire greatness in others.

Eligibility

All CIOCAN members (at the National, Chapter or Division level) in good standing are eligible for this award.

Selection Criteria

The following criteria are considered in determining a recipient:

• INVOLVEMENT: The individual has been involved in CIOCAN through activities, committees and/or programs.
• LEADERSHIP: The individual shows qualities that exemplify leadership and inspiration related to participation in CIOCAN and the technology sector.
• ACHIEVEMENTS: The individual has strongly influenced and has had a lasting, positive impact on the association and sector.

Nominations in consideration of the selection criteria will be reviewed. The CIOCAN Board of Directors will have final approval on the recommendation. In the event that no nominee meets the criteria, no award will be presented.

Presentation

The 2023 CIOCAN Impact Awards will be announced and presented at the CIO Peer Forum® on May 3, 2023.
