For the past four years the CIO Association of Canada has partnered with IT World Canada (ITWC) to paint a picture of the changing role of the CIO. The resulting reports have proven to be both enlightening and invaluable, with insights that allow CIOs to test their understanding of the immediate future against that of their peers.
The Census is unique in the depth and breadth of information collected. It is not a fluffy, nine-question survey with a predictable conclusion; it will require some thought and reflection. Participation from our diverse membership ensures that the results will be meaningful to IT decision makers.
This year, ITWC and CIOCAN have teamed up with Ryerson University’s Ron Babin to create the survey that explores everything from CIO spending and hiring priorities to the identification of the issues CIOs believe will have the biggest impact over the next five years. In recognition of the importance of digital disruption, this year’s survey contains several questions on the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation.
Anyone who completes the survey will get a copy of the census report and two tickets to the Digital Transformation Conference and Awards, June 14, 2017, in Toronto. Other incentives, including a $50 gift card for the first 50 qualified completions, are available.
You can take the survey at www.ciocensus.ca
