CanadianCIO of the Year finalists gathering for powerful discussion
Three CIOCAN members will be part of the team of seven of the 2019 ITAC CanadianCIO of the Year award finalists who will share ideas in a free-ranging virtual town hall on November 14. Julie Leese, Darryl Vleeming, and Helen Wetherley Knight were all nominated by their colleagues and peers for this prestigious prize.
Moderated by ITWC’s CIO Jim Love and Managing Editor Alex Coop, the discussion will focus on the changing role of the CIO. Only finalists will contribute to the discussion, but CIO Association members and other interested IT leaders are invited to listen in on what they’ve got to say.
“It’s not every day you get this chance to hear from so many thought leaders at one time, and in a format that allows for a free exchange of ideas. The conversation will among the CIOs, but we’re hoping there will be a big audience listening in to hear what they have to say”, said Love. “We’re going to pack a lot into a single hour.”
