Since 2015, Brian Brockway has been driving Commvault’s technology strategy, product innovation and integration expansion across the partner ecosystem. He has served in a variety of product management and marketing roles at Commvault, which he joined after working as a strategic consultant at Gartner and an equities analyst at Schwab Soundview Capital Markets. He holds an MBA degree from NYU Stern and an Aerospace Engineering Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Buffalo, and served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. After years of working to spot global market shifts and acting as his family’s technology guru, he’s challenged daily by his daughters’ mastery of emerging (social) media platforms. He’s called MacGyver by his neighbors for his problem-solving skills and fondness for spy novels, and dreams of joining a surfer band when he’s not finding innovative solutions for customers.

The New Realities of Data Readiness
What would the answer be if we were to ask you, “Is your data ready to weather the storm?” Would you be prepared? Do you have a cloud strategy in place in the wake of an unavoidable global pandemic, natural catastrophe, or even more concerning, man-made disasters? Commvault’s vision is to power the future with data readiness. In this session Commvault’s CTO Brian Brockway will take an in depth look at the new realities of data readiness – cyber recovery readiness, end user self-service needs, data growth, scale out storage, cloud shifts, and other critical realities your organization must ensure they are prepared for. (please note this is a forward-thinking presentation that focusses on current and future technology trends – not a product review)
